Woven with story and soul, these Kantha Doha quilts are made from layers of underprint cotton—rich in history and colour—salvaged from the traditional woodblock printing tables of Jaipur. These cotton tops bear the traces of hundreds of prints gone before them, creating a softly faded, painterly surface with a unique, timeworn beauty.

Each quilt is backed with woven cotton-linen blend dyed to a seasonal tone that ground the piece, offering both texture and balance while the inner layer is filled with 100% natural pin-punched cotton—breathable, insulating, and entirely free of synthetics.

Finished with blanket-stitched edges and hundreds of tiny kantha stitches, sewn by hand by the women DAC work closely with in the surrounding villages, no two are ever the same.

The running kantha stitch, a tradition passed from mother to daughter, speaks of quiet strength and purpose—bringing both structure and softness. Use it as a lightweight bed cover, a throw on the sofa, or a striking wall hanging.

These are more than quilts—they are pieces of living textile heritage, made slowly, thoughtfully, and entirely by hand.
